According to the press statement Boeing Defence Space
and security signed an agreement with U.A.E-based Tawazun
Precision Industries to produce aerospace parts for tactical
aircraft. BDS’ close partnership with the U.S. Navy was also
apparent during a media briefing on the P-8A Poseidon.
Whilst the Attendees of the air show took a chance to step inside
commercial air planes from the new 737 Max to the Dream liner 787 by
using virtual reality goggles.
“The 2015 Dubai Air show has been very positive for Boeing as we strengthened
alliances with partners, secured key commercial air plane orders and
met with senior government leaders and customers. This show has been
especially important to us as it coincides with our Centennial
celebrations. The agreements we announced help to bolster a growth
trajectory for our second century.” said the Vice President Charlie
Miller.
The organizers of
the air show estimate over 65.000 visitors to this year's topping the
record attendance 2013.
Furthermore as Boeing began celebrating its centennial with the opening of the
"Above and Beyond" exhibit at Children's City in
Dubai,locals have taken note almost of the company's almost 70 years
presence in the Middle East.
