Tivat
city of Montenegro is the new connection for Easy Jet as have decided
to commence service from Manchester airport and London Gatwick on
March 27th.
Given
that is the only one connection offered to Tivat by any U.K. airline
outside of London the low cost air-carrier expects to carry over
19.000 passengers on the route in the first summer operation.
Flights will operate twice a week and Easy jet’s people are delighted by adding to their network Montenegro as will become the 32nd destination country.
“This
a further substantial step in the developing relationship between the
United Kingdom and Montenegro said Ian Whiting British Ambassador to
Montenegro.
From
the other side Easy Jet expected that: “this new routw would not
take long to become a firm summer as an easy and affordable summer
destination for our customers and it has proved to be so successful
that we believe there is a real demand for this flight” said Neil
Slaver commercial Manager at Easy Jet.
Among
other reasons the new route to be loved by English people is that Tivat city also
seves the Mediterranean port of Kotor, a Unesco World Montenegro new
heritage site which was named as the number one to visit in the
world in Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel yearbook for 2016.
