SAS: New aircraft delivery


New plane for Scandinavian airline has taken delivery of its first and expecting of 30 A320neo aircrafts.
According to carrier`s plans the world`s best selling aircraft will be deployed on short to medium-haul routes from scandinavian home bases to destinations throughout Europe.

Plane`s orders  is part of its strategy to modernize its fleet with more fuel efficient aircraft reducing enviromental impact such as emissions and noise said the air-carrier  on its statement.

The french plane is powered by CFM international LEAP-1A engines and is confingured in a comfortable but single aisle cabin ready to host 174 passengers on board.

As the story goes Scandinavian fleet  consists of 25A320 8 planes of A330 and 8 A340 aircrafts types and becomes the first operator of airbus family.
