Aiming to raise at least 5,000 pounds for flying start charity made them put wings on their feet and the two first officers named James Van Den Hoorn and Thomas Reynolds pedalling like flying from origin point Croatia at 12:18 pm pass through Slovenia Hungary Austria Slovakia Czech Republic and ended their journey at 11:18 next day in Poland managed to clock up more than 300 miles during the challenge.
We`re really proud to get the record but more importantly to raise the money for the flying start charity said Thomas Reynolds first officer.
As the story goes for pilots things like planning rouuting and preparing back up plans are all part of their everyday lives as flight crew so that experience really came in handy for this challenge.
Feeling proud their achievement and a very humbling thought that we may have helped some kids living difficult lives along the way said first officer Reynolds.
