AIrbus: Donates face masks in Europe

 A flight -mission has landed in Hamburg from China carrying a cargo of 4 million face masks and medical supplies.



The European manufacturer has bought millions of masks and supplies  from China which will be donated to the airbus home countries of Germany, France, Spain, and the UK

Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury said: '' I would like to pay tribute to all the Airbus teams, globally, supporting the fight against COVID-19 They're living our values in assisting those who are saving lives  every day''

The A350-100 left Toulouse airport in France on Friday 3 April and reaching the Airbus site in Tianjin, China on 4 April and returning to Toulouse, France the same day.

This is the third of such missions between Europe and China. Earlier in March airbus by deploying an A330-800 and A330 Multi Role Tanker has transported shipments of masks and medical supplies between its European sites.

Airbus employees making Ventilators

The plane manufacturer has deployed its employees and their expertise to design and make air ventilators and 3D printed visors which are critical resources for hospitals.

 Has been donated to the German Government  

At the same time, airbus is contributing solutions to carry out life-saving missions in support of the global pandemic.

Airbus is a European leader providing tanker, combat, transport and mission aircraft, as well as one of the world's leading space companies, in helicopters provides the most efficient civil and military rotorcraft solutions worldwide.


Boeing fights against COVID-19

On the other side of the Atlantic Boeing offer its dream lifter cargo aircraft to carry critical medical supplies mentioned with a tweet on social media account. The American plane maker company also mentioned that are now using their 3D printers to produce face shields that are so much needed
