Far less than ever flights from London's airport just days before Christmas as countries around the world ban arrivals from London airports fearing for the variant Kent.

International flights to US have already been banned so there was no change at all. Not a single flight to Buenos Aires or Casablanca and a massive declined to Hong Kong as well. Additionally flights to India have decreased from 4 to just one according to Air India.
However departure flights to Amsterdam have been increasing during the period of December 20 until the end of the December. Also flights to Johannesburg have only stop after the 24th December when UK government has banned flights to South Africa due the mutated coronavirus flight radar24 reports.

Shocking figures
Considering that London's airports Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, London City are the busiest in the world the fact that the departures peaked just 600 for a couple of a days and in addition the departures for the whole month was only 350 it is a shocking fact in British aviation.
British Airways who is the dominant airline in Heathrow their flights have been cut on average for about mid December to Christmas and through the end of the month.
Ryanair who operates from Stansted has reported a reduced schedule for December whereas its busiest was just a couple of months before December. However data shows a significant rising figures for only couple of days during December and before the 20th. Easy jet at Gatwick has seen a drop of its schedule flying and many cancelations just a week before Christmas.
